There are only few organizations that are systematically devoted to the research, spread, or publicity of the Shadow Theatre in Greece. Unfortunately, none of the high education institutions, where research is only carried out individually, is entirely committed to this task. Only some cultural organizations can be highlighted:
a) Associations:
- Pan-Helenic Association of the Shadow Theatre (which monthly publishes a digital newspaper)
- European Association of the Shadow Theatre
- Non-profit urban company "Mimaros"
b) The Hellenic Literary and Historical Archive (ELIA), which announced the foundation of the Research Centre of the Greek Shadow Theatre
c) Magazines which occasionally devote a section to this particular topic.
