The title of the Thesis was “The Vita Basilii of Theophanes’ Continuer: between Literature and History. Study on the work’s different dimensions”, and it was unanimously awarded the highest qualification in the Spanish system (Sobresaliente Cum Laude).
The Thesis was written within the frame of the PhD program “Medieval and Modern Greece: Language, History and Civilization Studies” of the Department of Greek and Slav Philology of the University of Granada, under the direction of Dr. Encarnación Motos Guirao, Professor member of the Department of Medieval History and Historiographical Sciences and Techniques, and of Dr. Moschos Morfakidis Filactos, Professor member of the Department of Greek Philology.
The PhD student and the Directors of the Thesis are members of the research group “Studies on Medieval and Modern Greek Civilization (HUM 728)” of the Regional Government of Andalusia (Spain), with main office in the Department of Greek and Slav Philology of the University of Granada
